Simi Valley police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at a 7-Eleven store early today.
The incident was reported about 3:25 a.m. in the 1490 block of Madera Road.
The suspect entered the store with a knife and demanded money. The clerk complied and gave up an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect then fled the store in a silver sedan heading southbound. The clerk was not injured in the incident.
Police described the suspect as a man in his mid-30s last seen wearing a white hooded sweat shirt and bluejeans.
