A Los Angeles man, Ronaldo Hernandez, was arrested Wednesday in connection with the distribution of heroin in the Conejo Valley.
Thousand Oaks police Hernandez's arrest followed a monthlong investigation into heroin distribution in the Conejo Valley.
Hernandez, 26, was arrested in Sun Valley on suspicion of selling heroin to an undercover agent. Investigators say the drug was destined for the Conejo Valley, where it was to be resold.
Hernandez allegedly had a quarter-kilogram of heroin in his vehicle, with a potential street value of $16,000.
He was booked into Ventura County jail and being held there Thursday in lieu of $250,000 bail.
