Three Thousand Oaks residents were arrested Tuesday on suspicion of selling marijuana and child endangerment.
Thousand Oaks police said they received an anonymous tip on Monday that marijuana was being grown and sold at a home along the 1400 block of Avenida de Los Arboles.
The tip also stated that young children were at the home and that marijuana was being grown in the back yard.
Police searched the home on Tuesday and found several marijuana plants growing inside a chain-link-fenced area in the backyard.
They also found marijuana in a bucket on the rear patio.
Allegedly Toby Starr 34, was selling marijuana, but was trying to grow it under the protection of California Proposition 215, which allows for the cultivation of medical marijuana.
Police also arrested Starr's wife, Jaime and his mother, Nancy, at the home.
Nancy and Jaime Starr were arrested on suspicion of felony child endangerment while Toby Starr was also arrested on this allegation plus suspicion of possessing and cultivating marijuana for sale.
The three adults were booked taken to the county jail while the couple's 18-month-old son was turned over to Child Protective Services.
