An 18-year-old man was beaten and robbed in Oxnard last Monday.
The victim was walking in the 4700 block of Terrace Avenue about 7:30 p.m. when a sedan following him stopped, and the occupants got out and started to batter him.
The victim was injured and his baseball cap was stolen during the attack, police said. He was taken to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment.
Police were looking for five people, all males ages 17 to 18, in connection with the robbery, which also included an assault with a deadly weapon, officials said.
