South L.A. serial killer Lonnie Frankin Jr., better known as the "Grim Sleeper," is thought to have killed more women said detectives on Thursday.
Franklin is a suspect for two additional homicides. Allegedly, they occurred in the 1990s and involved women in the South L.A. area. Franklin has not been charged with these new killings at this time, and has pleaded not guilty to his current charges of killing 10 people.
Investigators originally believed there was a 13-year gap between his killings. He allegedly killed seven South L.A. women between 1985 and 1988. The killings were believed to be resumed in 2002, another in 2003 and a third in 2007, but now believe the two other deaths took place during the gap period.
Murder is the most serious charge a defendant can face. If you have been charged with first degree murder, homicide or manslaughter, you need an attorney you can trust your life with.
