Hubbard previously entered a not-guilty plea on Jan. 3 to two felony charges of misappropriation of funds.
He is accused of misappropriating $20,000 without school board approval to benefit former Beverly Hills Unified facilities director Karen Anne Christiansen while he was superintendent there. He is also charged with illegally increasing Christiansen's car allowance.
Christiansen has also pleaded not guilty in the case.
Hubbard is facing a maximum sentence of five years in state prison, if convicted on all charges.
He is scheduled to be back in court for a pre-trial conference Feb. 28.
