Man killed on Venice Boardwalk

An argument Thursday evening between two transients on the Venice boardwalk left one dead and the other in police custody.

Allegedly, one man stabbed the other eight or nine times in the abdomen during the fight, which occurred shortly after 6 p.m.

The victim died at Marina del Rey Hospital. No one else was injured.

The identities of the men have yet to be released.
