Three Oxnard men were arrested Thursday in connection with the theft of steel poles and stakes from farms near Camarillo.
The poles and stakes are used to build the structures that cover raspberries grown on the farms.
The loss to the farms was more than $99,000, authorities said.
A similar theft occurred at a farm near Ventura on Wednesday, detectives said.
Authorities said they found poles and stakes at the Oxnard home of Rudy Martin Padilla, 45. The material was like the ones that had been stolen.
Padilla, Armando Serna, 37, and Stephen Jones, 39, were arrested on suspicion of grand theft and possession of stolen property and conspiracy.
When a defendant in California faces theft charges for property valued at more than $400, he or she will face grand theft charges. A standard grand theft conviction may result in up to 16 months or 2-3 years in state prison. Enhanced penalties may apply depending on the value of property and the defendant's criminal record.
