Two Oxnard men were arrested in connection with an alleged gang stabbing and Ventura police are seeking a third for questioning. Jordan Patterson, 21, and Richard Rodriguez, 29, were arrested Monday after a stabbing Thursday near Hummingbird Street and Peacock Avenue in Ventura.
After a fight with the 22-year-old victim shortly before 8 p.m., Patterson left the area, then returned with Rodriguez and a third man. The three men cornered the man in a carport, where he was stabbed several times.
They left the victim in the road. He taken to Ventura County Medical Center and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Patterson and Rodriguez were arrested Monday in Oxnard, then booked into Ventura County jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, making criminal threats, street terrorism, conspiracy and parole violations. Neither was eligible for bail.
