A bizzare case of a planned murder suicide reportedly, and thankfully, failed early this month. A man, who's name was not given, in his 40s went to the home of a woman he had been dating, he brought a gun.
When the woman, obviously suspecting foul play, wouldn't open the door to let him in, he fired shots through her front door and hit her mother in the leg. Both women lived through the incident. The man then reportedly turned the gun on himself.

Police say that both injured parties were transported to the hospital but the did not say if the man is expected to live.
On neighbor stated. "We heard sirens," Jan Simmons said, "and more squad cars pulled up and everyone hunkered down with their rifles out and their shields and started running towards the building."
Further details have not yet been released in the case.
Los Angeles Muder Defense Attorney Robert Michael Helfend would help the man in this case, should he live to be charged with attempted murder. he knows that there area always legal manuevers to help try to get charges reduced or dropped altogether.
