Los Angeles Woman Pleads Guilty In DUI Case

One year ago this month twenty two year old Jessica Lynn Shekell drove her vehicle the wrong way down the freeway and hit a car with a two sisters and their two nieces. Both women died and the girls suffered internal injuries.
Now this month, after much legal battling, Shekell has agreed to plead guilty to vehicular manslaughter due to the fact she was drunk driving. Police reported that her blood alcohol level was .26 percent when she was driving her truck on the freeway.
Sally and Patricia Miguel, the women in the car, where returning with their nieces from Knott's Berry Farm on the fateful night.
Shekell will face her sentencing trail in December of this year when she may get as much as nineteen years and 8 months for her crimes.
