Gang Beats Up Man In Los Angels Park

Two men were walking home near Lions Park two weeks ago when a mob attacked and robbed them badly beating one while the other got away.
The group consisted of men and teenagers who approached the men and said they were part of a gang. They demanded money and when the men tried to get away more people showed up and kicked and beat one of the men severely, including fracuring his face.
The other man got away and no injuries where reported by him.
"This kind of group mentality is more consistent with gang activity," said Lt. Mark Manley. "Intimidation through numbers is consistent with what we've seen with gang violence."
All ten people were arrested and nine of them charged while on man made bail and left the jail slightly after midnight.
