An unknown number of trucks were stolen from an LA shipping yard, reports a spokesman for the LAPD's Harbor Division.
The trucks were taken from a Port of Los Angeles near Farragut Avenue and Anaheim Street around 10:30 pm Sunday November 28th. Two security guards were on scene when armed thieves stole the trucks which were loaded with shipping containers. At this point in the investigation, it is unclear how many containers were taken or what the containers were loaded with.
Detectives questioned the guards who were co-operative and are not at this point in the investigation considered suspects. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward in an effort to keep this type of crime from happening again.
