Geezer Bandit strikes again? The FBI and San Diego police don't think so. Although the bank robber was described as old and wrinkled with age spots, appearing to be in his seventies ,agents say that is where the similarities end.
The man who robbed a California Bank & Trust bank in La Jolla on Monday was described as 6 ft tall and weighed around 200 pounds which is much bigger than the Geezer Bandit. The robber used the threat of a gun and grenade to persuade the bank teller to hand over the money. The suspect walked out of the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
FBI is asking for anyone having information about this robbery to call(858) 565-1255 or San Diego Police Department robbery unit at (619) 531-2299.
