Although the actors of the police drama Law and Order are used to dealing with prop guns on screen, a real gun being found on set was a new and scary situation.
The men who star in the new show Law and Order Los Angeles were on set about to shoot a scene where they would arrest a man for murder when a semiautomatic weapon was found on a rock. The shoot was in the Culver City area.
Police took the gun and have logged it into evidence. Investigators say it will be test fired, as it was in good working order, and possibly matched to other crimes.
When the owner of the gun is found, they will most likely be charged with crimes tied to the gun. If you are charged with a shooting that you may not be responsible for, simply because your hand was the last on a gun that has seen many hands, you will need an excellent attorney. Los Angeles Defense Attorney Robert Michael Helfend knows that the death penalty is always on the table in murder cases and will therefore fight hard to keep his clients alive.
