7 Charged in New Crime Ring Case in Los Angeles

A recent rash of car burglaries across several counties in California may be coming to an end. Seven people were arrested and 25 cases of smash and grab type crimes are now believed to have been perpetrated by them and quite possibly others.

San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties have all been plagued with crimes in which the perpetrators would break car windows and take whatever they could reach.

Police were able to catch a break in the case when one of those allegedly responsible attempted to cash a forged check. The investigation is still going strong as authorities believe that more suspects are involved.
