Texas To Execute Another Inmate

Texas is well known for the death penalty and their full willingness to use that right. They executed a man in 2004 who was later proved innocent of killing his own three children. Cameron Todd Willingham was surely not the first innocent man to be put to death and now it looks like he isn't the last.
Hank Skinner, a 47 year old man currently on death row, is set to be executed for the murder of his girlfriend and her two sons. There are several inconsistencies in the case such as failure to test the bloody knives and skin found under the victim's fingernails for DNA, not testing the semen found either and many other blatent oversights.
Curtis McCarty, who himself spent 21 years on Oklahoma’s death row waiting to die, only to finally get DNA testing of evidence that finally proved his innocence, said, “When evidence is available to be tested, it is criminal and unconstitutional not to test it.”
Although this case is in Texas, the state of California also upholds the death penalty and it is impossible to know if or how many innocent people have been put to death.
