Corey Haim, an 90's pop icon for movies such as The Lost Boys and License To Drive, was found dead in his home last week. The cause? A drug overdose. The actor has had drug problems for years and during an interview post rehab he even admitted to taking up to 84 Vicodin a day. He said that count didn't include the several other types of pills he was taking.
This week when he was found he had 4 prescription drug bottles with his name on them in the room with him.
The Attorney General has now apparently determined that these drugs were obtained illegally. Although Haim did have prescriptions they were written on a stolen prescription pad that is a part of a major drug ring.
"We know there was a prescription pad stolen and there was a prescription written for him using that pad, so it was fraudulent and we know it was filled," a California Attorney General spokeswoman told People magazine.
The availability of drugs can hardly be blamed for the fact that someone who has been abusing prescription drugs for years suddenly overdoses. The person(s) who wrote words on the pad of paper which gave the bottles to Haim will more than likely be attacked by prosecuting attorneys with some level of murder charge. When that happens the party(s) should contact Defense Attorney Robert Helfend for an aggressive lawyer who understands the system and will play every card in the book to ensure your freedom. He understand that whiel you may not be inncoent of drug related charges, his death is not on your hands. He'll know the words to say and the actions to take to potentially make these types of charges simply go away.
Don't face a bleak future, brighten it up by hiring a legal defense attorney with twenty years of experience.
