Since the police released over 100 photos found in the storage unit of Rodney Alcala, the public has come out in force to
identify them. Two women have been identified and are alive and well while others have been confirmed dead. There are several who have been identified but are missing. While even more are still only nameless pictures.
Alcala has been described as a heartless monster and he's been convicted of kidnapping, raping, and murdering several women and even a few young girls. His criminal trial has spanned years and after many appeals and overturned judegements he has lost his latest case and now faces the death penalty.
The photographs were found in a locker in his storage unit with other trophies from his victims. Authorities know that Rodney used photography to lure his victims and make them feel comfortable with him before he snatched and hurt them.
You can request a copy of the cd full of pictures from the LAPD and anyone with information on the identities of the women in the pictures should contact the Orange County District Attorney's office immediately.
