Brian Alexik, who has been called a 'Jason Bourne', had more charges added to his file this week.
Alexik was on the run for over a month after escaping from his loft apartment overlooking the Federal Reserve building. Authorities say it was a dramatic escape and the counterfeiting and weapons charges were due to his possession of an AK-47 and the tactic he used to evade their efforts among other things.
He has also been charged with forgery and drug related charges but has pleaded not guilty to all charges. The 34 year old could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
After his run down the fire escape of his building, the reason behind the 'Bourne' likening, and his 6 week game of cat and mouse with the police, Alexik was caught at his girlfriend's hotel room.
