Rudolfo Negrete, a man who once appeared on America's Most Wanted, was sentenced last week. A judge gave him 75 years in prison for the Ventura County triple murder he had been convicted of.
In 2004 for Negete murdered Daniel Campos and then killed Alex Jordon and his pregnant wife Cynthia. Campos was killed in Camarillo while the Jordon's were killed near Cal State Channel Islands.
The victims families were able to tell Negrete what they thought of him and how his crimes had affected their lives due to the loss of their loved ones, however Negrete was called a coward not because of his crimes but because he refused to look at those speaking about their loss.
The only reason the death penalty was not sought in the case was because of an extradition agreement with Mexican Officials.
If you or anyone you know has been accused of murder in California, they may very well be sentenced with the death penalty. Los Angeles Defense Attorney Robert Michael Helfend will work to keep that from happening.
