A man walked into a Wells Fargo bank branch and handed the teller a note, he then must have gotten spooked somehow and he fled the bank empty handed.
The note handed to the teller stated that the man was armed and presumably ready to cause harm if he was not given money. The teller was more than likely shaken but no one was harmed and the thief walked away without a cent.
Los Angeles County sheriff's Sgt. Richard Hernandez said the would be crime happened at around 5pm on Wednesday. Witnesses said that the man was white and appeared to between thirty and forty years old. They said that he had blue eyes and brown hair.
