Los Angels Area Plagued With Multiple Murders

Saturday in Los Angeles a man was needlessly killed in a drive by shooting. A motive has not been released as the crime seems unprovoked.
The victim was a spanish man who appeared to be in his 20s, he was apparently just walking along the street when four men in a car shot and killed him. Emergency workers transported him to the local hospital but doctors were unable to save his life.
The trend of drive-bys is certainly not new to the Los Angeles area, however this shooting happened in an area that has become notorious as of late for homicides. In the last three years 12 people have been killed within a mile of the 4900 block of Patata Street. The last was teh gruesome murder of 27 year old Roshdi Abuawad who was dragged beneath a car and found dumped beneath a nearby bridge.
