Two alleged members of the infamous 204th street gang, 22 year old Jonathan Fajardo, and 23 year old Daniel Aguilar, are standing trial for the murder of a fourteen year old girl back in 2006.

Cheryl Green was shot to death i her neighborhood four years ago and the only apparent reason for her killing was the color of her skin. The gang members responsible for her death were bold enough to tag her driveway with a spray painted confession.
"All black people are their enemies," Deputy Dist. Atty. Gretchen Ford said during the murder trial of the two Latino gang members. "Really innocent people could die for no reason other than the ridiculous ideas of this gang."
If the boys are convicted at least one of them may face the death penalty.
"After being charged with homicide, you need an attorney whom you can trust with your life because, in California, that is exactly what you are doing. When we meet, I will clearly explain the charges against you, what you should expect next, and how your decisions will affect your case. The relationship of trust and honest communication that you develop with your murder defense lawyer will become your most important asset over the next several months and even years. I will be there for you. I will use every possible legal maneuver to have your charges dismissed or dropped." - Robert Helfend
