year old Deidria Nicholson was arrested just after breakfast last Thursday. Police searched her home and car looking for evidence linking her to several crimes. Nicholson was taken into custody and questioned about the crimes and told that if she cooperated she the entire ordeal would be easier. Deidria asked for a lawyer and was then officially booked and placed in a cell.
Authorities were acting on a tip from a crime stoppers hotline. On Monday morning her defense attorney argued for her and she was released pending further investigation. Police say that they are still looking at Nicholson although there is now another suspect and it has been said that the whole thing is simply a case of mistaken identity.
Investigators are now also looking at Cassandra Henry who is wanted in several states on ten different warrants.
