In a previous blog we detailed the case of Bruce and Monica Beresford-Redmond. Monica a hotel in Mexico (where the couple was staying with their 2 children) to go shopping on morning and she never returned. Her body was found dumped in the sewer not far away.
On Wednesday Monica's body arrived in a coffin at the Los Angeles International Airport. Her husband Bruce is still required to stay in Mexico until the case is solved.
The investigation has few leads. Monica's body showed signs of strangulation, although her family wants the body to undergo more tests in the US. Her husband had scratch marks on his neck and a hotel guest in the next room said that they heard cries of help from the Beresford-Redman's room. When a hotel clerk called a man told them that everything was ok.
