Last Monday Monica Beresford-Redman, wife of TV producer Bruce Beresford-Redman, left her hotel in Cancun Mexico to go shopping and didn't return. Investigators knew that she caught a cab for her shopping trip but never actually shopped due to the fact that her credit cards were not used at all. For the next four days her family and loved ones worried, prayed, and hoped, for her safe return. However, on Thursday her body was found dumped in a sewer close to the hotel.

Bruce, producer of the hit TV show 'Survivor' and co creator of MTV's 'Pimp My Ride', was detained on Thursday as a suspect in the case but was released without being charged. Police say he remains a person of interest in the case and must remain in Mexico until the investigation is completed. Monica leaves behind two children ages 5 and 3.
In a high profile case like this a solid criminal defense attorney is necessary to make sure that you are properly and intelligently represented at trial.
Because of the very real danger of the death penalty in a murder case in California, hiring an experienced lawyer like Defense Attorney Robert Michael Helfend is key to your freedom. He will review the case and then put together an aggressive legal defense that gives you the best chance at a lessor charge or dropping of the charges altogether. Don't leave your future to a lawyer who is anything less than exactly what you need. Contact the law offices of Robert Helfend as soon as charges are filed.
