Los Angeles Area Police a Little Safer

In a previous blog we discussed the issues that the Hemet police gang task force were facing because of their dedication to
solving gang related crime.
This week the task force was able to make 16 arrests while serving dozens of warrants related to the multiple crimes against their unit. They were also able to seize 16 firearms and other evidence for use in the investigation.
Hemet City Manager Brian Nakamura said that thus far they have been unable to make positive connections between the suspects and the recent attacks on the task force. However, investigators are cetain that they will be able to add those charges to the ones already filed against the suspects in custody.
"We've apprehended the individuals we believe are related to this crime," Nakamura said.
