Health Care Protest Leads To Assault

Health Care Protest Leads To Assault
Police in Thousand Oaks say that a health care protest turned violent as two protesters on opposite sides of the issue got involved in an altercation that resulted in serious injury to one man. According to witnesses, a man who was moving through a group of anti-reform protesters got into a disagreement with one of the group. He was struck by a 65-year-old man and retaliated by biting the man's little finger, severing it. The man's finger was successfully reattached at Los Robles hospital.
