Actor\'s Son Accused Of Dealing Methamphetamine

Cameron Douglas, son of actor Michael Douglas and grandson of Kirk Douglas was arrested last month in Manhattan and is accused of distributing methamphetamine nationally. Douglas, 30, faces a sentence of 10 years to life in prison if convicted. Prosecutors say that Douglas shipped large quantities of methamphetamine from California to New York via Federal Express. Douglas had been under house arrest in New York but was transferred to a regular jail facility after a companion, Kelly Sott, attempted to smuggle 7 grams of heroin concealed in a toothbrush to Douglas. Douglas has appeared in a few feature films and was an associate producer of a film still in production.
