Robbery Suspect Arrested In El Rio
A robbery suspect was arrested in El Rio last week by Ventura County Sheriff's deputies. The victims of the street robbery were confronted by two men brandishing tire irons and were ordered to turn over their wallets. One victim complied while the other ran away.
A Ventura County Sheriff's deputy saw the victim and stopped him. Afterward, tracking dogs were brought in who found one suspect hiding in a back yard. Juan Dominguez, 23, of Fillmore, suffered dog bites while trying to flee, and was captured. He is being held in the Ventura County Jail on a $100,000 bond. His accomplice remains at large.
