Father Charged In Daughters' Murders

Father Charged In Daughters' Murders
A Corona man was charged with murder in the stabbing deaths of his two young daughters. Amado Esqueda, 39, was arrested and charged in the deaths of his newborn daughter and a six-year-old, as well as a non-fatal attack on Esqueda's wife.
The suspect's wife who told dispatchers that Esqueda had stabbed both daughters and her called police to the Esqueda home during the attack. Neighbors also reported hearing screams coming from the Esqueda home. The girls were taken to the Corona Regional Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead. Police were unable to discover a motive for the attack.
