Anonymous Tip Leads To Drug Charges

Anonymous Tip Leads To Drug Charges
An anonymous tip led San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies to a Highland home this week, where they arrested Vashane Williams, 19, on drug charges including suspicion of possessing cocaine and marijuana for sale. Deputies were checking an anonymous tip and received permission from Willians to search is apartment in the 7300 block of McKinley.
Deputies found rock cocaine and marijuana, and arrested Williams.

Search and seizure cases pose a special challenge for prosecutors, because if they're not conducted exactly according to the rules of law, the evidence that is seized, no matter how damaging it might be, must be excluded. You need an experienced criminal defense attorney to tell you whether or not the search that led to your arrest is defensible in court. If not, an experienced defense attorney can help you raise these issues in court.
Robert Helfend has been practicing criminal defense exclusively in Southern California for twenty-five years. You can get legal training in law school, but experience comes only by working, and Mr. Helfend has worked hard to establish a reputation as an aggressive defender of his clients' rights.
