LA County Arrests Dozens In Graffiti Sweep
Los Angeles County law enforcement officials, including officers from several local jurisdictions and agents of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency raided more than 165 homes early Wednesday morning in an effort to locate and arrest individuals suspected of vandalizing buildings and other structures in Los Angeles County.
Forty-two people were arrested in the raids. According to officials, half of those arrested had outstanding warrants or were thought to have violated the terms of their probation or parole on other charges, like drug offenses and weapons charges. Investigators reported seizing a number of illegal weapons, including knives and assault rifles.
