Orange County Men Arrested On Child Sex Charges
Three Orange County men were arrested last week in separate incidents involving sex crimes against children. Police say that David Brown, 34, of Lake Forest engaged in a four-month sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl after meeting her online. Brown drew the attention of law enforcement officials after he showed up at the girl's high school looking for her.
Richard Chaney, 23, of Costa Mesa, is accused of videotaping himself having sex with a 14-year-old girl and also having sex with a second victim while she was unconscious. The age of the second victim is not known.
Brock Jackson, 21, of Santa Margarita, was charged in federal court with possession of child pornography after police discovered more than 6,000 illicit images and videos on a laptop computer in his possession. Jackson was being investigated for grand auto theft at the time the child pornography was discovered. Police do not believe that Brown has had contact with minors, but they do believe that other victims may surface in connection with Brown and Chaney.
