Drug Charges For Sizemore

Drug Charges For Sizemore
Drug charges have been filed in Los Angeles against actor Tom Sizemore. Sizemore, who has appeared in films such as Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down, was arrested last week on a warrant issued from Bakersfield.
Police were called to the Mount Olympus area of Hollywood Hills to investigate reports of gunshots, and discovered Sizemore and a friend. After questioning the pair, police discovered that Sizemore's friend was in possession of narcotics. A warrant check revealed that Sizemore had an outstanding warrant related to a 2007 conviction on drug charges in Bakersfield. The warrant indicated that Sizemore had not complied with the terms of his sentence.
Sizemore has been arrested a number of times on drug-related charges, as well as domestic violence charges related to an assault on former girlfriend Heidi Fleiss. He served 17 months in jail for repeatedly failing drug tests while on probation, and for tampering with a court-ordered drug test. His most recent arrest was in connection with the theft of merchandise from a Los Angeles cell phone store.
A drug possession conviction shouldn't ruin your life, but in many cases that's exactly what happens. Drug convictions can make it more difficult to find or keep a job, rent an apartment and maintain personal relationships, even years after the infraction was committed.
If you've been arrested on drug possession charges, work with an attorney who understands that drug convictions, even repeated ones, rarely serve anyone's best interests. You need a criminal defense attorney who can work with the judicial system to get you the help you need to put your life back on track.
