Drug Charges For 21

Drug Charges For 21
Twenty-one people were arrested in connection with a drug ring that allegedly supplied prisoners at the state prison in San Luis Obispo with drugs. Included in the arrests were a Los Angeles teacher and three prison employees.
Los Angeles teacher Guadalupe Ruiz was booked on charges of targeting inmates for drug sales. The investigation was initiated after police received a tip that drugs were being smuggled into the prison, and prison employees were involved. Once the investigation began, no drugs were successfully delivered inside the prison.
