Federal Drug Charges For Westlake Village Man

Federal Drug Charges For Westlake Village Man
A Westlake Village man will spend 15 years in federal prison for selling hallucinogenic mushrooms to a group of teenagers. Victoria Nugent, a 17-year-old girl who ingested the mushroom, died after wandering into traffic on US 101. Prosecutors said that Steven Roman sold the mushrooms to a group of teenagers in Thousand Oaks in 2004. Roman, who was also arrested for selling Ecstasy last year, admitted to the court that he had provided the drugs that led to Nugent's death.
