Woman Arrested For Grand Theft In Orange County
Grand theft charges await an Orange County woman who is accused of duping a plastic surgeon into performing breast implant surgery and liposuction. Huntington Beach police arrested Yvonne Jean Pampellonne, 30, after she arranged her surrender through an attorney.
Pampellonne is accused of stealing another woman's identity to open a $12,000 line of credit at the surgery clinic. Clinic staff called the police when Pampellonne failed to keep surgical follow-up appointments. Pampellonne was identified through the serial numbers on a set of breast implants, which the surgeon had removed and replaced. Clinic staff picked Pampellonne out from a photo line-up. Pampellonne also faces charges of commercial burglary and identity theft in connection with the case. She was released on a $20,000 bond and faces arraignment in the case on May 27.
