Sex Charges Filed Against Former Soccer Coach
Sex charges have been filed against a former Sonoma Valley Youth Soccer Association Coach. Gregory V. Tatton, 43, was arrested in West Hollywood on April 3 and faces criminal charges including committing lewd and lascivious acts with a minor age 14 o1r 15, additional charges for being at least ten years older than the victim and oral copulation with a person under the age of 18.
The Sonoma Valley Youth Soccer Association dismissed Tatton in November 2007 for having counterfeit registration tags on his vehicle. During that investigation, rumors of his alleged involvement with a girl on his soccer team surfaced, and deputies initiated a second investigation. Investigators believe there may have been more than one victim. Tatton, who had been living in his car and with friends since his dismissal, was held on a $150,000 bond and was arraigned on the charges last Wednesday.
