Drug Charges Levied Against Fontana Man
Drug charges have been brought against a Fontana man in connection with a methamphetamine lab discovered during the search of the man's home. San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies served a search warrant on the home of Arturo Gaona. A search of an upstairs bedroom turned up a methamphetamine production facility. In addition, deputies found counterfeit currency, methamphetamine and the raw materials needed to make methamphetamine in the house.
Gaona was arrested and deputies called in the San Bernardino County Hazardous Materials Team to dismantle and decontaminate the facility. The San Bernardino County Fire Department, which also responded to the scene declared the house uninhabitable and revoked its certificate of occupancy.
Gaona was taken into custody and faces drug charges including manufacturing and selling methamphetamine.
