Orange County Man Arrested In Wescom Robbery
An Orange County man has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a Wescom Credit Union branch. The branch, located on West Chapman, was robbed on Friday, October 10. Charles Langsdon is suspected of entering the branch and handing a teller a note demanding money. The note allegedly mentioned a weapon but no weapon was visible during the robbery.
Police used fingerprints left at the scene to identify Langsdon, who is a resident at a halfway house in Garden Grove. He has a previous conviction for bank robbery. When he was arrested, police discovered an undisclosed quantity of heroin in Langsdon's possession.
