Woman Critically Injured In DUI Accident

Four people were injured in a pedestrian-vehicle accident in downtown Los Angeles Saturday afternoon. One woman who was waiting for a bus was critically injured when she was struck by a speeding mini-van. The driver of the mini-van and two passengers inside the vehicle were also injured in the accident.

The driver of the mini-van was arrested on suspicion of DUI. He is hospitalized and recovering from his injuries, but will face DUI and child endangerment charges. The two victims inside the mini-van were reported to be the driver's sons and were hospitalized with broken bones and bruises. The female pedestrian suffered serious head injuries and may not recover.
