Palm Desert Man Arrested On Child Pornography Charges
A Palm Desert man has been indicted on federal charges including receipt and possession of child pornography and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and PCP. Jorge Aglony was arrested in September. When police executed search warrants on the hotel room where Aglony was staying and on the car he was driving, the search produced drug paraphenalia and child pornography.
Detectives removed CDs, DVDs, VHS videotapes, digital storage media, video cameras, and digital still cameras containing pornographic images. Police also recovered notes written by Aglony that documented some of the photos, lists of secondary schools in Mountain View, San Jose and Santa Clara, and items that led investigators to believe that Aglony may have been impersonating a police officer. If convicted, Aglony would face a maximum sentence of 110 years in federal prison.
