Man Arrested In Deaths Of Father, Uncle in LA
A 21-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the murder of his father and uncle. The three shared an apartment near the downtown Los Angeles area. Police were called to the apartment to perform a welfare check on the trio, after the suspect's mother went to the apartment on Tuesday and was unable to make contact with her son, her former husband and former brother-in-law.
Police entered the apartment and found blood on the walls and floors. Based on the suspicious condition of apartment and surrounding area, officers brought in a cadaver dog, which located two shallow graves in the yard adjoining the apartment. According to police, the men died from apparent blunt force trauma. Officers arrested the suspect, whom they describe as "a person of interest." According to the mother, the trio was seen alive together over the weekend.
