Ventura Man Arrested In Store Burglary
A 21-year-old man was arrested by Ventura police on suspicion of burglary. The Ventura Police Department responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a convenience store on North Ventura Avenue at about 1:20 AM Tuesday morning. When police arrived at the scene, they found the suspect, Carlos Gonzales, a resident of Ventura, inside the store. Police said that the front door of the business had been pried open and they spotted Mr. Gonzales inside the store looking through the merchandise. Gonzales was taken into custody after police ordered him out of the store.
