Six Indicted In Oxnard Murder

Six Indicted In Oxnard Murder
Six people have been indicted by a Ventura County grand jury in the robbery and murder of a local businessman. Gurmohinder Singh, 55, was gunned down in August after leaving a US Bank branch in Oxnard, where he had just withdrawn a large sum of cash.
The grand jury handed down indictments against Jeffrey Aguilar, Maria Bucio, Mario Cervantes, Chrystal Ceja, Lance Brown and Christina DeLeon, who face charges including murder, being an accessory to murder, conspiracy, and money-laundering. All of the suspects, except DeLeon, have been arrested and formally charged. DeLeon is considered a fugitive. Aguilar, Bucio and Cervantes could face the death penalty if convicted of the charges against them, although prosecutors have not yet determined whether they will seek that punishment against the defendants, if they are convicted.
