Marines Arrested In Deaths Of Sergeant, Wife
Four marines stationed at Camp Pendleton have been charged with murder, robbery and sexual assault in the slayings of a Marine sergeant and his wife at their Temecula home last month.
The four defendants are expected back in court on December 15, after pleading not guilty to the charges late last month. The men are accused of forcing their way into the home of Marine Sergeant Jan Pietrzak, 24, and his wife Quiana Jenkins Pietrzak, 26 and assaulting the couple, before ransacking their home and killing them execution-style. Their bodies were found on October 15 by local authorities who were called by officials from Camp Pendleton, after Pietrzak did not show up for work.
If convicted, the men may face the death penalty.
